The Nepal 10 Day Adventure

Approx. 50km

• Take a morning flight to Pokhara (NOT INCLUDED, 30 mins) and check into the hotel.
• Head to Hearts & Tears clubhouse and meet your bikes over lunch.
• Go for a short ride around Fewa Lake or wander around Pokhara.
• Full tour briefing in the evening with dinner/drinks

Approx. 110km

• Hit the local roads and head east out of Pokhara
• Ride the Kristi ridge with incredible Panoramic views of the Annapurnas
• Traverse your first suspension bridge!
• Ride through quaint villages avoiding the traffic
• Arrive at Bandipur, an old Indo-Tibetan trade station with no vehicular access to preserve its traditional charms.

Approx. 100km

• Ride through an alternate route off the main roads which won’t appear on any map!
• Forge a few small rivers and descend south to the meeting point of the Trisuli and Kali Gandaki rivers
• The temperature rises as we enter the jungles of Chitwan National Park
• Arrive for lunch at the Safari Lodge
• In the afternoon take a canoe ride down the Rapti River with your jungle guide observing the bird life…..and crocodiles!
• Walk back through the jungle home to many rhinoceros, deer, bear, monkey and the Bengal Tiger!
• Tharu Culture show in the evening

Approx. 200km

• Ride west along the Terai skirting the Indian border
• Visit a Buddhist temple for lunch
• Head into the hills of Palpa
• Arrive at our favourite organic farm nestled in a remote valley.
• Enjoy some of the best local food Nepal has to offer.
• Sit by the open-fire and enjoy a dram of local moonshine

Approx. 120km

• After breakfast head further west on perfect tarmac with incredible river views.
• Take a route along the Kali Gandaki corridor heading north.
• Explore villages untouched from tourism
• Take a local boat (with your bike) up the turquoise blue river and enjoy a packed lunch
• Keep riding the local roads up to Kusma and cross Nepal’s largest suspension bridge!

Approx. 80km

• Today we enter Mustang!
• Climb from 400m up to 2500m
• Forge the world’s largest gorge (over 8000m! deep)
• See the people, houses and culture change from Hindu to Buddhist as we climb north.
• Sleep in Kalopani, nestled between the Annapurna (8100m) and Dhaulagiri (8200m) ranges.

Approx. 50km

• Today we soak it up!
• Shorter day to rest and recharge. Depart late morning.
• THE VIEWS ARE AMAZING!
• Ride some beautiful single track to avoid the main trail
• 8000m+ mountains all day long
• Cross several suspension bridges
• Sleep in Kagbeni, an ancient Tibetan village
• Visit the local Tibetan monastery and observe the monk culture
• Yak Steak for dinner!

• Today we hit our highest point – nearly 4000m!
• Visit the sacred Muktinath Temple
• Ride the back way down through Tibetan ruins and marvel at the views
• Visit Dumba Lake
• Arrive to Marpha – one of the most beautiful villages in the region.
• Ride through the cobblestones, white-walled village

Approx. 100km

• Today we start our descent down from Mustang
• Pass the Rupse Falls
• Stop in at the Tatopani hot-springs for lunch
• Climb to Micky’s place for the evening – a restored palace.
• Sit by the open fire and reflect on the amazing trip!

Approx. 110km

• Triumphantly return to Pokhara!
• Take the local route via Kaskikot – home to the original Shah King.
• Descend from Sarangkot (paraglide launch point) into Pokhara
• Tour debriefing over dinner/drinks in evening

Transport to Pokhara airport from hotel provided

• Can book domestic flight to Kathmandu.
