190 km

We head into northern Laos, starting with a ferry ride across the lake. From there, we enter Phou Khao Khauy National Park, riding through bamboo forests and crossing small wooden cable bridges.

By evening, we arrive in a quiet village where we’ll stay in a simple guesthouse, getting a glimpse of life in rural Laos.

160 km

We continue along the historic ‘Revolution Road,’ making our way to the legendary Long Chieng airport, once known as Lima Site 20. Here, we’ll have the unique experience of riding on the world’s most secret runway before visiting General Vang Pao’s former house.

The journey takes us over rocky roads through dramatic limestone mountains, eventually leading to the fascinating Plain of Jars—a mysterious and awe-inspiring archaeological site unlike any other.

90 km

Leaving Phonsavanh, we pass old derelict tanks abandoned along the roadside, a stark reminder of the region’s history. Along the way, we’ll visit a Hmong village where homes are ingeniously built using scrap metal from the war.

The ride takes us onto forest tracks and through areas once littered with unexploded ordnance. We end the day by relaxing in the natural hot springs at a peaceful resort, the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploration.

170 km

We start the day with a visit to Tham Piew cave, a site of historical significance. From there, the journey takes us onto small dirt roads and across epic bamboo bridges, adding plenty of excitement to the ride.

In the evening, we’ll enjoy a meal at a local hotpot restaurant before wrapping up the day with some fun at a nearby karaoke bar.

190 km

The day begins with a ride through Nam Et Phou Loue National Park, following trails near the Vietnam border. We navigate single-track paths, passing through tribal villages and stunning limestone Karst mountains.

We finish the day in Muang Ngoi, where we’ll relax with sunset beers by the Nam Ou river, soaking in the incredible views.

130 km

Today’s ride takes us along challenging single-track trails and across one of the newly built Chinese hydro dams. We’ll stop for a local lunch at a floating restaurant before continuing on rocky roads down to the village.

The day ends with a well-earned beer in the pool, overlooking the river and the stunning surrounding scenery.

150 km

We kick off the day with a fantastic ride on twisty paved roads before heading onto small tracks that wind through scenic rice paddies. A highlight of the journey is the thrilling ‘Bamboo Raft’ river crossing, an experience you won’t forget.

The route offers incredible views of the countryside as we make our way to Luang Prabang, the ancient capital. We’ll wrap up the adventure with riverside beers, celebrating the end of an epic ride.

Enjoy a final breakfast at the hotel with your group. Transfer to the airport is included.
