Tour Details

We’ll follow the Cam Le river out of the City into open countryside and pass by huge, colourful cemeteries and temples. From there, we’ll visit Hill 55 Sniper Training School from the wartime. Next, we’ll ride over the Hai Van Pass, with plenty of photo stops as we go. After that is a ride around the beautiful Lang Co Lagoon before heading back over Hai Van Pass. We’ll enjoy a local lunch in Danang before making our way to Monkey Mountain. On Monkey Mountain we’ll find amazing roads with spectacular views at up to 700 m. Here there’s a good chance to see the rare breeds of langur monkeys if we’re lucky. After that, it’s back to base for a cold beer!

FAQ

This tour can run all year, but November to January has the highest chance of rain.
Yes. You can either pay the ‘Pillion price’ if you sit behind a paying customer, or you can pay the ‘Rider price’ to sit behind one of our staff riding.
Not essential. Vietnam has a very well developed road network, allowing us to choose our routes depending of the group.
Son Tra mountain (known as Monkey Mountain) is home to both Macaque monkeys and Red-shanked Douc Langurs. We see them about 1 in 3 visits They usually stay away from us up in the trees, so no ‘close encounters’.
The top of Hai Van Pass is 500m and the top of Son Tra (Monkey Mountain) is 700m. Both have exceptional views.
Yes. We have lunch on the beach in Lang Co.
