Awesome adventure , best way to see Vietnam. The Vietnamese people are so kind and welcoming. The bikes were very comfortable and safe. Thanks to Hawk and his team for an experience we will never forget, never a dull moment on the tour that’s for sure, so much to see and take in. The food was definitely an experience, loved the jumping chicken…😂
The accommodation was really good except only in one place which was in a remote location so very understandable, the rest definitely made up for it …
Definitely worth doing and will definitely be doing it again soon …

Thanks heaps halk! Awesome adventure, really appreciate the local knowledge and going though Remote villages, As a tour guide you where happy to go of the beaten track and explore even though it wasn’t part of the tour was a trip of a lifetime. Big thanks to Hawk and his crew for an incredible six-day motorbike tour through central Vietnam. Their extensive knowledge of the region’s history was a standout. Professional setup, with great care taken to look after everyone. The bikes were top-notch! Hawk, I’m pumped for the North Vietnam tour next!
Just finished a fantastic week with Hawk and his team riding the central highlands. I’ve had the best time. Hawk has loads of local knowledge. Our trip was trouble free, fun and interesting every day. We travelled interesting roads I would never have found without them. . I will definitely be biking another trip with Onyabike Adventures.
Just wrapped up an incredible 10-day ride through the mountains of Northern Vietnam with Onyabike Adventures, and it’s honestly been one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. From winding through stunning mountain passes to passing through remote, welcoming villages, every day offered something new and breathtaking.
A huge part of what made this journey so special was our guide, Hawk. More than just a group ride leader, he was a trusted companion and a local expert who brought the culture, history, and landscapes to life. His passion for the region and care for the group made the experience truly authentic and unforgettable.
And a massive shoutout to Phong, our mechanic—an absolute legend. Thanks to him, the bikes were in perfect shape throughout the entire trip, even as we tackled some seriously rough terrain. His behind-the-scenes work kept everything running smoothly and safely, and honestly, without him, a few of us might have ended up lost in the mountains!
Now that I’m back in Hanoi, I’m realizing just how lucky and privileged we were to see such a raw, beautiful, and unfiltered side of Vietnam. If you’re looking for a truly immersive way to explore the country, this is it. Couldn’t recommend Onyabike Adventures more.

Das war die beste geführte Motorradtour, die wir in den letzten 15 Jahren gemacht haben!!
Wir haben mit unserem Tourguide Hawk eine 14-tägige Rundreise durch Nordvietnam gemacht, darin auch Teile des Ha Giang Loop. Die Landschaft war einfach überwältigend, die Unterkünfte in den Home-Stays idyllisch und mit Kontakt zu den Inhabern. Überhaupt zeichnet sich Hawk, der die Tour plante, dadurch aus, dass er uns das ursprüngliche Vietnam (Historie, Essen, Kultur und tägliches Leben) zeigte und erklärte. Er ist Brite, lebt aber seit mehr als 10 Jahren in Vietnam, kennt sich bestens aus und geht gerne - in Abstimmung mit uns - neuen Hinweisen nach. Das war oft Abenteuer pur, lohnte sich aber!!
Sein Motorrad sollte man gut beherrschen, da die Strecken witterungsbedingt auch mal stark verdreckt, geschottert oder (selten) off-road sind 😎

Dank des tollen Tourguides und einer perfekten Organisation hatten wir einen fantastischen Motorradtripp durch den Norden Vietnams. Wir haben schon einige geführte Motorrad Touren gemacht, aber das, was Onyabike bietet, war mit Abstand das beste Erlebnis: interessante Unterkünfte, tolles Essen, super Streckenführung, dabei auch nicht zu lang und immer wieder interessante Highlights entlang der Route. Durch die tolle Betreuung durch unseren Tourguide Hawk war es für uns ein rundum sorglos Tripp. Vielen Dank
